Today's Tasks

Caring for a loved one with dementia is a daily challenge. The app organizes your entries by day, reflecting your caregiving efforts. Begin each day with a clear view of your schedule, and easily swipe or tap through the week to plan ahead.

  • Nanaroo schedules care tasksCaregivers can quickly enter one-time tasks by tapping on the app’s screen or dictating into their phone. Nanaroo’s artificial intelligence handles the rest—classifying care entries, scheduling tasks, and sharing updates with team members and loved ones.
  • Recurring tasksSave time as a busy caregiver by setting up recurring tasks in your loved one’s profile. Choose the days of the week, time of day, and duration for each task. The app will automatically add these tasks to the appropriate days moving forward. When a task is no longer needed, simply remove it from the profile page.

    Care Entries

    Add care entries just like sending a text. You enter a single care activity or several activities or anything in between.

    It doesn't have to be well structured or have good grammar - simply add in the things you did for a loved one and include things you still plan to do and the app will magically organize and categorize them automatically to help reduce the stress of this important part of caregiving.

    AI-powered to make it easyNanaroo uses a powerful, yet simple form to capture your care entries and convert them into 1) completed care and 2) tasks that are yet to be completed - these tasks are added to the appropriate day and time you specify in your entry.
  • Include photos whenever neededAdd photos when you submit your care entries for added context to your entry - they can help capture a tender or important aspect of your entry. Photos are always optional.

    Chat

    Nanaroo communicates with your team. It has a built-in chat function that allows you to notify other team members of the team of important events, needs, and suggestions without going outside the app.

  • Everyone is in the loopNanaroo informs everyone of your loved one's condition, giving them visibility into the care you and your team provide. This allows friends and family to participate whether they live next door or across the country.
  • Chat press and hold actionsPress and hold any chat message to open the chat action menu. Upgrade a message to a team alert or favorite a message to keep a reference for easy review.
  • Add photos for clarificationUpload photos or images to the chat to share heartwarming moments or to add depth and clarification to a situation as you deliver care.

    Loved One Profile

    We know our loved one well, but that is not always true for the friends, extended family, and professional caregivers we bring into our care team. The profile screen is the place to help everyone get to know more about a loved one, their condition, and other important details.

  • Details about your loved oneUse the profile screen to enter, update, and refer to important information about your loved one, such as: age, condition, interests and hobbies, important contacts, and more.
  • Create and remove recurring tasksThe ongoing, scheduled tasks displayed on the Care Screen are entered and removed within the loved one's profile.

    Care Touchpoints

    To help caregivers visualize the areas of care they provide each day, all entry is processed to include a organized into a care touchpoint category - health, medication, sleep, diet, activity, and emotion. 

  • See all of the care you've doneThe Recorded Care Screen displays all of the care completed for your loved one. It includes the care description, who completed it, and when. Review the list each day to verify what's complete and to always have an active "care journal" to refer to.
  • Filter to specific areas of careCaregivers can filter on each touchpoint at any time to see the exact entries for each, keep track of the kinds of care they are giving, and know if they need to address any other points of care.

    Multiple Client Management

    You know that caregivers are very special people - they dedicate most or all of their lives to their loved ones. They also care for other family members or friends, so having at least two or more people in their lives to care for is normal. If you are a professional, this is always true. Multiple client/loved one management is at the heart of Nanaroo. It is easy to add new loved ones at any time and manage their care with ease.

  • A Home Screen to start your careThe Home Screen gives you a home base to return to and navigate to the specific loved one you need to care for. Select the loved one and get started by capturing a care entry or updating a chat.
  • Add a new loved one in sixty secondsIt is incredibly fast and easy to add a new loved one to Nanaroo. A name, a brief description, and you are all set to capture and track your caregiving.

    Care Teams

    Family, friends, neighbors, and professionals are all at the heart of caring for a loved one. Nanaroo allows you to add as many caregivers as you need to your team. Add new caregivers or remove them at any time. A tap on the "add caregiver" button displays a unique QR code to scan while in person or a special team link to copy and send via text or email - it is incredibly easy to securely join one or many care teams.

  • QR codeWhen in person, use the team QR code. The new care team member will use there phone camera to scan the code and install the app. Once the app is installed they will be added to the team and can participate in caring right away.
  • LinkUse a special team link to add new team members. Copy the team link and share it by pasting it to a text or email. Once your new care team member receives the link, they tap it to begin the install and join processes.

    Team Alerts

    A key to effective care is timely communication across the caregiving team. Must-see alerts are easily created from any message, as well as, notifications from care team members when new entries are created and messages are sent.

  • Easy to createTeam Alerts is our newest feature and a request from our users. Chat is great, but important chat messages can be missed or go unnoticed - press and hold a message to see the option to upgrade it to an alert that every team member will see. 
  • Everyone is notifiedEvery team member will see the alert immediately when they open the app so no alert will be missed. The Seen By area of an alert shows all team members who have seen the alert so there's no guess work.
